FIESTA FOR FRIDA
 ART-CREATION FESTIVAL

If you are interested in volunteering for our May 13-14, 2023 Fiesta for Frida, please download our Volunteer Sign-Up Sheet and type your name in your available time-slot.  If you don't have a computer, you can also email us your available time, and preferred position.

VOLUNTEER REWARDS:

All shifts are 3 hours and are each rewarded with one coupon for $50 MXN that you can spend anywhere, and one $50 MXN Workshop Coupon.  We welcome guests to volunteer for more than one shift, or to volunteer on both days!  All volunteers receive a free weekend pass.

 

We will have water available for everyone.  Please consider bringing a water bottle for your refills.

Please Note:  Workshop coupons cover your fee, but you pay the artist directly for the piece you choose to make.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

REGISTRATION:  

• Sell entrance bracelets to guests

• Sell workshop coupons to guests

• Ask Guests to sign up for our Newsletter 

• Hand out brochures with schedule and event map

• Answer general questions

SILENT AUCTION & WORKSHOP REGISTRATION TENT:

• Sell workshop coupons to guests

• Assist guests with the bidding

• Ask Guests to sign up for our Newsletter

• Hand out brochures with schedule and event map

• Answer general questions

• Theft prevention for silent auction items

 

Please Note:  We would like one volunteer to work the desk for workshop coupons and general information, while a second volunteer assists bidders and helps with theft control.  You will not be held responsible if something goes missing - this is a preventative measure.

GARDEN VOLUNTEERS:

• Collect dishes from garden and return to kitchen area

• Answer general questions

​

KITCHEN VOLUNTEERS:

• Collect dishes from food and beverage area

• Load and unload dishwasher / wash dishes

​

Please Note:  We only have 1 volunteer designated for the kitchen, due to limited space.  There will be hired kitchen staff working with the cooks.  We are hoping for enough volunteers to assist them, to lessen the workload and keep things running smoothly.
